My little boy......

....turned FOUR yesterday! It's really hard for me to believe. He's been the "baby" for a long time! But not for much longer. In fact he'll tell you emphatically "I'm Chandler Elijah Prescott." (although most people can barely make out what he's even saying he says it so fast!) 

He wants to be a big boy, ride a big bike, sit in a big carseat, and do things just like his brothers! He's not very big for a 4 year old, in fact, smaller than my other two were at that age. He's always asking if he's big enough, old enough, or tall enough to do something that he wants to do.  

Zachary & Bryan are so different from each other in every possible way....then came Chandler. In some ways he's a mix of his brothers, but really he's uniquely different than the other two! In fact, he's more routine, picky, particular, & specific than either of them!!! Sometimes that's easier to deal with, and other times it's incredibly challenging!  

I could say so much about this little man. What a delight he truly is!!!! I know the Lord has great things in store for him, beyond what his mother can even imagine! Chandler's name means "Bringer of Light" and you can see it in his eyes. He really does bring lots of light & life to our family and we can't imagine him not part of it!  

He is going to be a great big brother.....once he adjusts to the major change life will throw him. He prays daily for "our baby" and is saving things for her that he either grows out of or doesn't want anymore. It's really sweet.  

We had a fun day with Chan today, doing some things he wanted to do. We sure do love you lots, Chandler!!!! Happy Birthday!
