Just a few things~

To be grateful for.
Sometimes making a list like this helps me when there are things I could complain about, but know that I shouldn't.

That even though I am still sick & throwing up it's a good sign of a healthy pregnancy.

That I have only lost weight so far instead of gained it. (that's typical for me)

That there are actually some days when my itching doesn't even bother me AT ALL!

That God's Word is a comfort to my soul.

That I have family & friends who are praying for me.

And that I can pray for others, usually at night when I can't sleep.

That my 9 year old daughter can crack & cook eggs, which makes for one less time that I have to throw up!

That my kids are great at loading and unloading the dishwasher.

That my daughter folded ALL the laundry the other day while watching a movie w/her brothers.
That my boys spent hours playing ATTACK Uno this afternoon and just laughed and laughed!

That when I dozed off this afternoon on the couch, even when my boys disappeared on top of the roof (I woke to the sound of loud footsteps above me!) the Lord kept them safe!

That my son is able to get speech therapy, which I didn't think possible.

That my husband watches the kids every Tuesday night so I can so sing for 3 hours w/my ensemble.

That I will now be re-imbursed for mileage every week to and from rehearsal. (our group got a grant! yay!)

That my husband works hard for US everyday!

That my grandmother & daughter are spending the day together and cooking all kinds of things up for us!

That Jesus died for ME. And that his death & suffering are not in vain, & neither is the sufferings of His saints. PTL!

That I don't have to fix dinner tonight, and we can eat at church for $14 for 6 of us!

And I know these are only a few, and I'm really just getting started.
I needed to do this exercise for my soul right now.

What are you grateful for today????

little girlies, jewelry, princess books, & snuggles!

My sweet niece Hallie Kate just loved decorating herself with Tiffany's jewelry the other night. It was so cute to watch her fascination with it and making sure EVERY piece got on her just right! IMG_1924 IMG_1925 IMG_1927

Heidi asked for a "Princess story"

Tiffany whispered over to me at one point... "Mom, I'm not using all the real words, I put ones in that she'll understand." She knows just how it's done when reading to a 3 year old! IMG_1978 IMG_1976
We'll take extra little girls around here anytime. Everyone has so much fun! IMG_1955 IMG_1956 IMG_1957 IMG_1958 IMG_1959 IMG_1962 IMG_1960 IMG_1961

Taking a STAND for LIFE!

IMG_1887
Once a year, in October, we take an hour and go stand holding signs on a main road here in San Antonio, TX. We aren't the only ones, as it occurs all over the US/Canada on this same day. Thousands were out today taking a stand for LIFE.
Just silently letting others know that "Abortion Kills Children."
I saw more people out this year than I have in the past few years, and I think it's because of the election coming up. More are aware that this is a serious thing. We got more honks agreeing with the message than we did screams & obsenities that weren't.

Showing some love~

My little pumpkins~

10 wonderful years~

On October 17th, we celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary. Life with Seth has been more than amazing. Yes, it's had it's challenges, adventures, joys, & more, but I can't imagine not being HIS WIFE FOR LIFE!!!!!
We were very blessed to get away JUST US for 5 days. We went back to the mountains of North Carolina, where it all began! It was great going to places where we had great memories & seeing the beautiful fall scenery and just relaxing with no real plan or schedule!
Thanks to some dear family & friends who made it possible for us to go. From providing a place for us to stay, a vehicle to borrow, childcare for our kids etc.....
God is SO good!

Most mornings.....

.....I have had no desire to get out of bed. So, a few times my boys have joined me.
Although sometimes they make me more nauseous since they are so excited to all be together that they shake the bed.....but really I am glad to have memories of this!
